My house and my neighborhood

Hi readers! Today I am going to talk about the place where I live in, what my home and neighborhood are like. I live in Huechuraba, it isn´t too close to my school, it is a little far away. My house isn´t near the houses of my friends and I have only two classmates that live in Huechuraba. All this is too complicated because I can´t move alone and I depend sometimes too much of my parents when I want to go to a house of a friend, for example and I can´t go to my school by bus. I have a nice neighborhood, it isn´t dangerous at all and my little brother can play on the street with his friends safely. In my block there are a lot of children, most of them are little and so my brother has a lot of friends to play with.

september vacations!

September vacations!!
What I am going to do in my September vacations? … I will go to the beach house of Ange! Sole and Vero will go to! We are going to have the greatest time ever!! I go very often to Ange´s house in Costa Cachagua, there we do a lot of fun things. For example in summer we go to the beach to sunbathing and to swim on the sea and we go also to a lot of parties, in winter we don´t go to than much parties but read, sat by the fireplace and watch movies. This September vacations we will do a lot of stuffs. We could go horseback riding along the beach, watch movies, make many barbeques, go to all the “fondas”, dance “cueca” and much other stuff.
But we can´t forget that when the vacations end we have to do the “sprachdiplom” !!!! :s …so unfortunately we will have to practice that a lot in our holydays L

My experience in COANIL
Hello readers!!!
How were your Holidays!? It is been a long time since the last time that I wrote on my blog…did you miss me?
Today I have a new subject to talk about!
I and my class are going to COANIL. COANIL is a charity foundation for persons that have any kind of mental disability and the parents who cannot keep them, leave the children in the houses where other people take care of these kids. In the place that we visit 117 persons live, only four of them talk and only seven families visit their child. Around 40 people work there and they need a lot of help so we go to COANIL to help them and to cheer the children up because sometimes they feel a little bit lonely. We have to feed the children, make some beds, cut bandages, or whatever they need.
Going to COANIL is a big experience and we can learn a lot of the wonderful people that is part of this foundation.

writing in blogs

We are at the end of this semester and I have to give my opinion about my work on the blogs.
I think that working on the blogs was sometimes fun and others not so much, but it was very productive and fruitful, I have learned many things. Now I know better how to handle the language and how to express myself in English.

I´m going to tell you about an illness that is very present in our society, the cancer.

The cancer is a disease that has been with us along great part of our history. The cancer is a disease caused by a genetic mutation that produced the messy or uncontrolled cells proliferation of a tissue or an organ, these cells form a tumor. The cancer cells could move to the different parts of the body, if that happened, the cancer make metastases.

There are several kinds of cancer, it depends on the tissue that affect, like lung cancer or leukemia.

Is very important try not to make contact with the different things that might develop cancer like the cigarette.

There are different types of treatment for the cancer: the chemotherapy, the radiotherapy and the surgery. And some scientists are trying to make a vaccine against cancer off uterine, lung, blood, skin and breast.

holidays

hi readers!
today I will write about the holidays.....wich one was my favorite or how will the perfect one be...
I have two favorite holidays. one was in the summer of 2004 when my entire family went to viña del mar for two months, that same summer my younger brother had born. we went almost everyday to take an ice cream or to the beach, I swam in the sea for hours. the summer of 2008 is one of my favorites too. that summer I spent a long time with my friends, we were going to the beach, to walk and to the parties. my perfect or dream holidays will be in a foreign country, like a tourist...I will visit the greek islands, Paris (the eiffel tower and the louvre), London (the big ben and the buckingham palace) or Itali (the coliseum and the vatican)...some place in europe....better!!! I will make "el tur de cocha"

USA, England or Canada??

My dear readers...how are you today?Today I was thinking about the USA, Canada and England and about their differences...and I have a question for you…Which one do you prefer between these three countries?All this countries have their advantages and their disadvantages.
I don´t know very much about Canada. I know that in Canada live a lot of diversity kind of people but I´m not very interested in living these country, is also too much cold and I don´t like that (98)
The USA is a really big country and very varied, someone said that in the USA are potential buyers for all kinds of things. I don´t know why, but I don´t like USA very much…
I definitely prefer England. England has a lot of history and a lot of culture and is also a member of European Union, that is a big advantage. If some day I go to England I’ll visit all Europe
I hope someday visit these three countries and have a better idea of what they are and know which country I prefer.

In these days the ecosystem looks very affected by the human action in the earth and appear problems like the ozone layer weakening, excessive cut down of the forests, the rivers and water pollution, the global warming, the liberation of toxic gases and so many other problems.
We should take care of our planet and we must do something to solve all those problems or at list made everything that we can. For example save water, collect the garbage from the floor and respect the cars constraint.
These are little things but everyone can contribute a bit.

Hi my friends!!
Well..know is time to talk about music and musicians.
First I am going to tell you about the Beatles. They were a very very famous group and they still are. The Beatles performance during the 60´, they were from Liverpool, England, his integrants were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They played rock and roll and pop music and have a lot of famous albums like “Help!”, “Yellow Submarine”, “Abbey Road” and “Let in Be”.
Now I am going to talk about my favorite artist. She is Shakira.
Shakira has 32 years old, she was born on February 7th, 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia. She sing pop latino and pop music in Spanish and in English too. Shakira is not just a good singer, she is a really good person too, she has her own foundation call “Pies Descalzos” like one of hers albums.

my favourite invention

I´m writing to you again! now the subject is my favourite invention.
well my favourite invention and the one that is the most important in my life as a student is the "INTERNET".
This invention was created to support the US army and the goberment.
I always use the internet for several things, for example:
-entertainment: to speak with my friends, play games or listen to music.
-school: to do my homeworks, investigate or learn some more.
Now the internet is more important than the last year because now me and my classmates are using computers as notebooks. now we can use internet in class to look for more information and complement what the teacher says.
That´s why the internet is such an important invention for me.

I´m about to turn 16 years old. In two more years I´m going to go to the college and I don´t know if I want to study History or Medicine. I go to a female school and I have many friends. We are pretty untidy.
In my family we are four siblings, I´m the oldest and the only woman. I also have a dog, is brown and his name is Moro.
I´m very friendly, and I have no boyfriend. I love dancing and listening to music.
